A Little Mid-Week Pick-Me-Up

I don’t know about ya’ll, but this week has tiptoed by. It has been quite the busy week – professional developments, math and reading state assessments, report cards, IEP meetings, more professional development. Talk about everything happening in 1 week!!

I’m glad to be back in the blogosphere after a few days. And I am excited for some things to look forward to the next few days – Wednesday date night & a painting party on Thursday (I’ll update on that later this week!)

But, I’m in need of a little mid-week pick-me-up and I’m sure some of ya’ll are to.

I think this quote can serve as quite the Mantra. Something that we need to say to ourselves and believe.

We aren’t always treated as important. We aren’t always treated like we are educated or as knowledgeable in the workplace. We may sometime have negative self talk when it comes to eating healthy and living a healthy, God-Centered life.

But underneath all of our negative self-talk, insecurities, and belittlement from others –

So, to live fiercely..

  1. Set goals – at your job, lifestyle choices, relationships, etc.
  2. Believe in yourself. You can achieve any goal that you are willing to work towards!! Don’t tell yourself that you can’t.
  3. Stand up for yourself (to yourself and others) . It is okay to let people help you in decision making and to give you advice, but you know what is best in your situation! Make decisions that are best for you! If you believe in yourself, this will come easier.

I hope this speaks out to someone and gives you a little extra power to make it through the rest of the week!!
